Part of what makes northern Michigan great is the relentless spirit of generosity people in our region possess. We see it every day. People here want to help. They want to support the institutions and organizations that make our community a strong and healthy place to live.
If you stand anywhere on the medical campuses at Munson Medical Center or Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital, you can see concrete evidence of how donor dollars improve health care. The Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation and Paul Oliver Foundation enjoy long traditions of generous support from community members — support that continues to secure and advance health care services in northern Michigan. We believe everyone in our community should have access to high quality health services and philanthropy plays a prominent role in what we can accomplish.
The role of our foundations is twofold: We help pay for health care services, equipment, and programs that might otherwise go unfunded, and we help community members who want to support or enhance programs that match their values, allowing them to make a real and significant difference in the lives of others.
