To standardize our processes and improve patient satisfaction by reducing call transfers, we will be centralizing all Munson Healthcare (MHC) non-Radiology scheduling and pre-registration services to a Regional Pre-Services Call Center – 1-877-484-4536 – as of Monday, August 1.
The hospitals and procedures affected are:*
- Cadillac Hospital (Cadillac)
- echoes, holter monitors, exercise stress tests, non-stress tests, pulmonary function tests, and home oxygen qualifications
- Grayling Hospital (Grayling)
- echoes, holter monitors, exercise stress tests, non-stress tests, pulmonary function tests, and home oxygen qualifications
- Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital (Frankfort)
- colonoscopies, echoes, EGDs, holter monitors, home oxygen qualifications, O2 titration, and pulmonary function tests
Please update your records as the current MHC Pre-Services numbers for Cadillac, Grayling, and POMH will no longer work as of Aug. 1.
NOTE: The current phone number (231-935-6718) will still remain active for all internal transfers.
As part of this Pre-Services call center centralization, we will no longer call patients to schedule services at Cadillac Hospital and Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital. Please have your patients, or your office, call to schedule non-Radiology services. If a patient has not called us to schedule their appointment within 10 days of receiving an order, our Pre-Services team will notify the ordering provider’s office.
However, we will continue to call patients to pre-register them prior to their scheduled appointment.
Munson Healthcare Pre-Services hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 7 pm. This is an expansion of the current hours for Cadillac Hospital and Grayling Hospital, which previously did not have evening hours.
