Munson Healthcare is pleased to welcome family medicine Nurse Practitioner Noel DeShano to Manistee Primary Care. Her first day will be February 26, 2024.
Noel’s interest in the medical field was deeply influenced by the transformative experience of birthing her own children. She is especially passionate about women’s health and reproductive health. After graduating with her nursing degree, Noel pursued her advanced training and certification as a family nurse practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky.
Noel wants her future patients and referring providers to know that she is committed to compassionate and patient-centric care, an approach rooted in open communication and collaboration. She states, “I believe in strong partnerships with patients and fellow healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.”
Noel was born in Boise, Idaho and spent much of her formative years in New Jersey. She relocated to Traverse City in 2004, where she and her husband are raising their three children. Outside of her professional duties, she enjoys hiking, camping, or taking in the beauty of nature and Northern Michigan.
