    woman and child wearing masks outsideThank you for your interest in the Munson Healthcare Summer Camp for 2024! Please see the information below to learn more about our camp program, and then follow the steps below to register your children. 

    Summer 2024 - Dates and Details

    Below are the dates and grade requirements for camp this year:

    • Camp runs from June 10 - August 16, 2024. Camp days are Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 5:15 pm.
    • Children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade for the 2024-2025 school year can enroll (5 years old to 12 years old).
    • No minimum hours required!

    Important Registration Information

    • To qualify for Munson Summer Camp, parents must be Munson Healthcare employees or enrolled in Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools (via our partnership). Munson Healthcare employees must be employed 30 hours or more each week (.75 FTE or greater). Parents must receive a Munson Healthcare paycheck that covers the amount of the childcare deduction to receive the employee rate. Enrollment is also available on a limited basis to individuals (referred to herein as “affiliates”) employed by Sodexo, Mary Free Bed, CPS Solutions, and Huron Consulting whose roles require them to be onsite within a Munson Healthcare facility.
    • Print out Registration Packet. 
    • Read through the entire packet and fill out the last 5 pages (15-20). These must be completely filled out and turned in with the registration fee on March 5. (If your child is 5 years old and entering kindergarten ONLY: Please also bring their immunization record with packet).
    • March 5, 2024, will be our in-person registration day. Registration Packets will only be accepted in person for summer camp 2024. Packets will not be accepted via email per the state licensing requirements.
    • Registration Day for Munson Healthcare employees and approved affiliates only will take place from 7 am - 11 am in Dining Room 3 in the Munson Medical Center Cafeteria.
    • If you are a Munson Healthcare employee or approved affiliate and cannot attend registration on March 5, 2024, from 7 am - 11 am, please email Brigid Wilson, bwilson@mhc.net, to set up a time to register your child(ren) after that scheduled time. This includes joining the waitlist.
    • GTACS FAMILIES: Registration day information will be in your school newsletter. Beginning March 18, 2024 please email Brigid Wilson your completed registration packet. She will respond via email if you have a confirmed spot or if your child(children) is on the waitlist.
