Traverse City

Grandview Parkway Construction

Between March 10 and late June, the Michigan Department of Transportation will undertake Phase 1 of a major construction project on Grandview Parkway between Garfield and Front Streets. This will majorly affect traffic and transportation throughout downtown Traverse City.

Patients and staff of Munson Healthcare who need to visit Munson Medical Center and surrounding facilities/clinics via this route will be affected, as will emergency personnel and first responders.

Patients and staff impacted by this phase of construction should familiarize themselves with the detours being put in place around the area, consider alternate routes further away from the construction area, and plan on adding extra travel time to ensure they arrive to their destinations on time.
