Specialty

Urology

Urologists manage problems such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, bladder function and incontinence, enlarged prostate as well as treating cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney and testes.

Hospitalist

A hospitalist coordinates treatment with a primary care physician, but will be the one who cares for patients in the hospital in place of a primary care physician. The hospitalist works exclusively in the hospital, and attends to patients from the time of admission through discharge. Hospitalists examine, evaluate, order tests, prescribe medications and follow the patients' recovery process on a day-to-day basis, and communicates with the patients' primary care physician to maintain continuity of care.
