Support the Women's Cancer Fund

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, consider supporting the Women's Cancer Fund this giving season.

A diagnosis of breast cancer can feel overwhelming, but you're not alone. Cancer treatments have progressed significantly in recent years and survivor rates have increased as a result. 

Patients will find breast cancer treatment and resources at the Cowell Family Cancer Center on the Munson Medical Center campus in Traverse City. This state-of-the-art cancer center opened in 2016 and provides most cancer services, including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and supportive care. Additionally, the cancer center has invested in revolutionary new screening and diagnostic breast imaging tools which provide must clearer images of abnormalities within dense breast tissue, and reduces "false alarms" and patient callbacks for additional imaging by up to 40 percent.
