Do you know a Safety Champion? A Safety Champion is someone who:

• Consistently uses Munson Healthcare’s safety behaviors to prevent injuries or exposures.
• Sets a good example for safety in the workplace.
• Advocates for positive changes that help create and maintain a safe work environment.
• Encourages or inspires others to act safely.
• Actively promotes safety through their actions.
• Promotes the use of safety devices/equipment to prevent/reduce the risk of injury.
• Has a general passion for safety that’s exhibited in their daily work.

PRIZES! 

We will be awarding 22 Summer Safety Camp Ultimate Performance T-shirts to Safety Champions across the system at our hospitals and ambulatory locations based on the quality of the nominations. 3 T-shirts will be awarded to Healthcare Team members who took the time to nominate a Safety Champion (these prizes will be randomly drawn).

Nominations have been extended to Tues., June 10 at 12 pm. All winners will be announced in The Compass on June 11.
