Neonatal Intensive Care Construction Project
Munson Medical Center began construction on a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on May 28, 2026. It’s anticipated that construction of the NICU will take 18 months to complete with an opening targeted for late 2027.
To accommodate construction work, some parking areas and walking routes have changed, but signage and staff are in place to help.
Lot B and all parking directly around Cowell Family Cancer Center are reserved for Cowell patients only. A new overflow lot just north of the Cancer Center is also designated for Cowell patients, with a free shuttle available Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4 pm. Shuttle Service is used only for this new overflow lot.
The Beaumont Place sidewalk remains open for patients walking between Munson Medical Center and Cowell Family Cancer Center.
