Specialty
Urgent Care Medicine
Urgent care physicians treat individuals who have non-life-threatening medical conditions and who are unable to consult with their primary care physician to receive prompt diagnosis and treatment. These services include physical examinations and diagnosis and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses. Urgent care centers are not emergency rooms and individuals with serious or life-threatening emergencies will be referred to a local hospital emergency room for treatment.
Emergency Medicine
Emergency Medicine physicians have expertise in making immediate medical decisions to prevent death or further injury. They provide immediate recognition, evaluation, care, and stabilization of patients in response to acute illness and injury.
