Employee Referral Program

Do you know someone who’s positive, creative and would be a great team member? They might be Munson Material!

Employee Referrals often lead to great hires! Over the last year, we have had more than 1,200 potential candidates referred to us by members of our Healthcare Team. We’re looking for people who exemplify our Values and want to positively impact our communities.

How to earn your bonus:

  • Go to your SmartRecruiters Employee Portal and search for jobs that might be a great fit for your friend or family member.
  • Click on the “Refer a Friend” at the bottom of the job posting or click the referral link and email/text it!
  • When your referral applies from that link, you will be listed as their referral!
  • Please note: they must use the link you send them to apply. If they apply using another link, your name will not be tied to the referral. Referring in this manner is the only method to implement payment.
  • If the candidate is hired, you will be paid approximately 4 weeks after the new hire’s start date.

Program Details:

  • Anyone who refers a qualified part-time and full-time candidate who is hired will receive $3000.
  • There are no restrictions on the number of people an employee can refer.
  • Referred candidates must not be currently employed by Munson Healthcare. If the candidate was previously employed by Munson Healthcare, they must have a gap in service of 12 months or greater for the referral to be eligible.
  • Temporary, On-call, PRN, TOC, physician roles and contracted positions are not currently eligible for referral awards.
  • Most Munson Healthcare employees are eligible for the bonus with the following exceptions:
    • The Talent Acquisition Team is not eligible
    • Providers are not eligible
    • Managers are eligible for the bonus as long as the referred candidate is hired into an area in which the manager does not have oversight
    • The bonus is not available for employees of contracted service partners
  • Bonus amount is pre-tax.
