We are committed to providing close-to-home care whenever possible. There are infusion service locations in Cadillac, Charlevoix, Gaylord, Grayling, Kalkaska, Manistee, and Traverse City.

Cowell Family Cancer Center in Traverse City

The Carls Foundation Infusion Suite at Cowell Family Cancer Center serves adult and pediatric patients throughout northern Michigan, as well as those visiting the area for an extended stay. 

Our spacious Infusion Clinic is located on the second floor of the Cowell Family Cancer Center at 217 S. Madison St., across the street from Munson Medical Center. The clinic has 44 chairs that are open air, private, and available in a relaxing, healing environment to care for you. Free parking is available on-site. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. 

The Infusion Clinic is staffed with registered nurses who specialize in the care of patients with cancer and chronic diseases. All of our nurses are certified to administer chemotherapy. Our team also includes nurses certified in the care of pediatric patients as well as intravenous and vascular access. The clinic offers an on-site, full-service infusion pharmacy staffed with board-certified oncology pharmacists - including a rounding pharmacist providing education and assistance to clinic patients. 

The Infusion Clinic serves patients with cancer and a variety of chronic illnesses and immune disorders. Services include:

• Access device maintenance 
• Adult Infusions: iron, IVIG, monoclonal antibodies (including, but not limited to Benlysta, Orencia, Remicade, Rituxan, Tysabri, Ocrevus, Actemra, Entyvio)
• Pediatric Infusions: Remicade, IVIG, Solumedrol, Xolair
• Antibiotics
• Bladder instillation treatments
• Blood products (adult and pediatric)
• Chemotherapy (adult and pediatric) 
• Injections (including, but not limited to Xolair, Procrit, Neulasta, Neupogen, Prolia, Xgeva, Nucala, Soliris, Ultomiris) 
• IV fluid / hydrations / electrolytes
• Procedures: phlebotomy, bone marrow biopsy
• Vaccinations

All patients must have a physician referral and schedule an appointment in advance.

All orders should include:

• Patient name and date of birth
• Diagnosis, including ICD-10 code
• Physician orders
• Physician’s signature, including date and time
• Out-of-area patients must have orders signed by the physician
