Munson Healthcare was identified as one of the nation’s 15 Top Health Systems™ in 2023 according to an independent quality analysis based on collaboration between Premier, Inc. and Fortune. The study ranked more than 300 U.S. healthcare systems on hospital performance, including patient outcomes and patient experience.

Munson Medical Center was certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center in 2023 by The Joint Commission (TJC). This is the first-ever and only Comprehensive Stroke Center in Northern Michigan. This designation affirms Munson Healthcare’s technology, resources, and expertise in providing care for 100 percent of stroke cases.

Munson Healthcare was named a Forbes “America’s Best Employer by State” for the second consecutive year in 2023. Forbes and the market research company Statista generated the list after anonymous surveys of 70,000 employees nationwide working for businesses with more than 500 employees. The endorsement is a testament to our commitment to fostering a supportive work environment focused on shared values, caring for our employees and more.
