Otsego Memorial Hospital Temporary Parking & Entrance Changes | July 20-28

As part of the Otsego Memorial Hospital Expansion and Renovation Project, the hospital's main entrance and main parking lot will be closed from July 20–28 while construction crews complete critical utility and infrastructure work. 

During this time, patients and visitors should follow the temporary parking and entrance instructions below. We appreciate your patience as we complete this important work to expand and enhance healthcare services for our community.

Please allow extra travel time due to:

  • Temporary parking changes
  • Center Avenue road construction
  • Alpenfest traffic
  • Increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic on campus

Where to Park

Professional Medical Building (PMB) Parking Lot

Please park here if you are:

  • Visiting a physician or clinic
  • Having laboratory testing completed
  • Having radiology/imaging completed
  • Visiting a patient in the hospital
  • Coming for any non-surgery hospital service

Use the PMB Entrance.

Rehabilitation Parking Lot

Please park here if you are:

  • Visiting Rehabilitation Services
  • Visiting the Emergency Department

Surgery Patients

Surgery patients should be dropped off and picked up at the Emergency Department entrance. The driver should then park at the PMB Parking Lot if staying at the hospital.

Volunteers and hospital staff will be available throughout campus to:

  • Provide directions
  • Answer questions
  • Escort patients and visitors to their destination
  • Assist with wayfinding during construction

Why are these changes necessary?

The main entrance and parking lot are temporarily closing so crews can complete utility and infrastructure work as part of the OMH Expansion and Renovation Project. These improvements are a key step in expanding services and growing OMH to better serve the region.

Where do I park if I am visiting a physician, laboratory, or radiology department?

Please park in the PMB parking lot and enter through the PMB entrance.

Where do visitors park?

All visitors should park in the PMB parking lot and use the PMB entrance.

Where should surgery patients be dropped off?

All surgery patients should be dropped off at the Emergency Department entrance.

Where should surgery patients be picked up after their procedure?

All surgery patient pickups should occur at the Emergency Department entrance.

Can someone drop me off at the hospital?

Yes. Drivers may drop patients off at the appropriate entrance before parking.

Will wheelchairs be available?

Yes. Wheelchairs will be available for patients and visitors who need assistance. Staff and volunteers will also be available to help.

Will someone be available to help me find my appointment location?

Yes. Volunteers and staff will be stationed throughout campus to provide directions and escort patients if needed.

Should I arrive earlier than usual?

Yes. Please allow extra time for travel, parking, and walking to your destination due to:

  • Center Avenue road construction
  • Alpenfest traffic
  • Temporary parking changes
  • Increased campus traffic

Is the Emergency Department still open?

Yes. The Emergency Department remains open 24 hours a day and continues to provide emergency care during construction.

Can I still access rehabilitation services?

Yes. Rehabilitation services remain open. Rehabilitation patients should use the designated rehabilitation parking area.

Is the main entrance open?

No. The main entrance will be closed from July 20–28.

What if I park in the wrong location?

Staff and volunteers will be available to assist and direct you to the correct entrance. Please follow posted signage throughout campus.

How do I know where to go once I arrive?

Temporary signs will be posted throughout campus directing patients and visitors to the appropriate parking areas and entrances.
