Erik H. Howell, M.D., has joined the staff of Munson Medical Center as a board-certified specialist in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Howell practices with Traverse Heart & Vascular as part of Munson Healthcare’s heart team of 22 cardiologists. He will be seeing patients at the Traverse City and Kalkaska locations. He is accepting new patients, and appointments can be made by calling 231-935-5800 (800-637-4033).
Dr. Howell graduated from medical school at Michigan State University, East Lansing, Mich. He completed an internal medicine internship and a residency in cardiovascular disease at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, and a fellowship in general and interventional cardiology at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, N.Y. Dr. Howell is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology.
