Munson Healthcare Hospice Bereavement Services invites the community to candlelight ceremonies to acknowledge the pain and loss of the last year and the heaviness that can be felt amidst holiday joy.
The Winter Solstice Gatherings are a way to come together to light the way with hope and healing during the darkest night of the year.
“The ceremony is held each year around the holiday season and is a special way to remember and honor those loved ones who are no longer with us. It is a celebration of light and unity, a time to share fellowship with others. To join in the sharing of common purpose and to reflect and rejoice in the memories we hold so dear,” said Shari Wilson, President Post-Acute Care.
Both events will be held on Thursday, December 21.
- 3 pm: Kirkbride Hall – 700 Cottageview Dr., Traverse City
- 5 pm: Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital, 400 Hobart St., Cadillac
