Time to Get Your 2026 Flu Shot

The MHC Seasonal Influenza Program will now run until Nov. 15. As we have grown as a system, we recognized the need to provide an expanded timeframe for the Healthcare Team to receive their flu vaccine. Flu vaccination is a condition of employment and/or medical staff privileges.

Deadline: Nov. 15

Where:

• Flu Vaccination Walk-in Clinics: MHC is holding flu vaccination clinics. 
• Other Flu Vaccination Options: Flu vaccinations can also be done through a primary care office or a local pharmacy with documentation emailed to MHC Employee Health. Do not fax flu vaccine documentation.

Exemptions:

• Prior Exemptions: If you were granted a medical or religious exemption last year, it will be automatically carried over for the 2026-27 flu season.
• New Exemptions: All new flu vaccination exemption requests (medical, religious) must be submitted by Oct. 15 to exemptionrequest@mhc.net. Forms received after Oct. 15 will not be considered.
  Note: Contracted medical staff (e.g., SCP, Grand Traverse Pathology, Grand Traverse Radiology, etc.) should follow your employer’s exemption process.
