That’s why our dedicated staff focuses on the whole person, not just physical recovery. We provide a caring, highly trained, and supportive team to maximize recovery. We tailor care for each person, with individualized treatment plans designed to help patients return to their everyday activities and improve their quality of life.
Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital offers a diabetes self-management program that is recognized by the American Diabetic Association and certified by the Michigan Department of Community Health.
Our program helps you learn how to live well with diabetes. Group and individual classes provide information on nutrition, exercise, medications, glucose monitoring, and more. A pharmacist, registered nurse, and dietitian provide presentations and counseling. Family members or others close to you are encouraged to attend (at no additional charge) to provide support. The class fee is covered by most insurance providers. A physician referral is required before registering for the program.

The Sleep Disorders Center at Manistee Hospital provides highly specialized evaluation, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment for people with sleep disorders. Our patients enjoy quiet, comfortable, hotel-like rooms. Each suite features queen-size adjustable beds and private whirlpool baths and showers. While most patients stay overnight, testing hours are available to best suit patients’ typical sleep schedules. Our sleep center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital's Radiology Services maintains state-of-the-art imaging capabilities to better serve the health care needs of our community. Today, we offer the latest diagnostic procedures through the expertise of a professional and dedicated staff of technologists and radiologists. Our comprehensive radiology services include:
