Munson Healthcare Patient Needs

The Patient Needs Fund provides financial assistance for the urgent needs of patients during a health-related crisis. Help provided through this fund includes assistance with groceries, rent or mortgage payments, utilities, childcare, and transportation expenses. This fund supports patients across northern Michigan at every Munson Healthcare hospital.

Munson Healthcare Hospice

Donor support keeps Munson Healthcare Hospice strong and helps provide compassionate end-of-life care to those in need - regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. A donation to Hospice also supports bereavement services, including grief support groups, and the maintenance and upkeep of the Hospice House in Traverse City.

Munson Manor Hospitality House

Munson Manor, located in Traverse City, provides a home-away-from-home for patients and family members wishing to remain close to loved ones at Munson Medical Center. This safe and comfortable resting place relies heavily on support from our community to remain operational and subsidize room fees for guests experiencing financial strain. 

Equipment Needs at Our Community Hospitals

To keep pace with the latest advancements in healthcare, our community hospitals must regularly upgrade and replace medical technology, purchase new equipment, and update facilities. Investing in these equipment needs enables Munson to provide safe, high-quality healthcare for Northern Michigan patients and their families.

Petoskey Community Health Center

Munson recognizes the need for expanded healthcare services in the Petoskey community. Plans are now underway to transform the former Petoskey Art Van building into a community health facility. This center will serve as a hub of outpatient services including primary care, urgent care, diagnostic imaging, and a variety of specialty services.
