Your Safe Haven for Healing & Recovery
Improving behavioral health and wellness is a process, not a one-time event. As you learn new ways to cope, you may be challenged by life’s changes in ways that feel overwhelming or threatening to your healing.
If that happens, Munson Healthcare’s Partial Hospitalization Program can help. It can offer you an extra level of service that supports your recovery without disrupting your daily life.
What Is Partial Hospitalization?
Partial hospitalization offers access to a safe, structured treatment environment for adults who need more intensive therapy than they would typically receive in a traditional outpatient program.
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Traverse City lets individuals who are not a danger to themselves or others stay connected to their routines, loved ones, and community — all while offering the safety and support needed to manage behavioral health issues. It’s best suited for people whose needs don’t require inpatient or residential services, or for those who are ready to transition from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or crisis intervention to a more independent lifestyle.
Our Program Features
Our short-term, intensive outpatient day program is held five days a week from 9 am to 3 pm. Treatment is usually from one to three weeks, depending on progress.
