Munson Healthcare’s Freedom from Smoking Program
The Munson Healthcare Freedom from Smoking program is an 8-week online course designed to help you finally quit smoking, vaping, and chewing tobacco for good.
Whether it’s your first time quitting or you feel like you’ve tried everything, this nationally-based program has a proven track record. Hundreds of thousands of people have become nicotine-free through this group clinic, which offers a structured, practical approach to quitting.

Individualized Support
Not sure about a class and prefer one-on-one support? Our Tobacco Treatment Specialists offer individual counseling to support you on your journey to quit smoking, chewing, or vaping tobacco. They’re here to help you develop your own specific plan.
Tobacco Treatment Specialists also work with health care providers to make sure you are getting the medical support you need to quit. The cost varies but may be free or include a minimal materials fee.

State and National Programs
Michigan Tobacco Quitline
Offers free information, tobacco treatment referral, phone counseling, an online program, and text messaging 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This quitline offers a variety of tailored programming taught by and for veterans, American Indian smokers, and more. Free counseling and nicotine replacement therapy (patch, gum or lozenges) may be available to certain callers.

Freedom from Smoking Plus
This online program is offered through the American Lung Association and includes 12 months or unlimited access to the Freedom from Smoking online program available 24/7 on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Freedom from Smoking Plus also includes live telephone and chat support from the quit smoking specialist through the Lung Helpline. Nine highly interactive sessions prepare you for your QUIT DAY and help you stay smoke-free for good. Program cost: $99.
