The Neurocritical Care Program at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City provides advanced, comprehensive care for patients experiencing life-threatening neurological conditions. As a regional referral center and the only unit in northern Michigan, we accept patient transfers from hospitals throughout the state and deliver expert care for some of the most complex neurological emergencies.
Our dedicated neurocritical care team includes board-certified neurologists and neurosurgeons, specially trained critical care nurses, and a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals working together to provide around-the-clock monitoring and treatment.

Neurocritical care is a specialized field of medicine focused on treating patients with severe neurological illnesses, complications following neurosurgery, and neurological conditions that develop as a result of other serious diseases.
