What is Chronic Pain?
Doctors often define chronic pain as any pain that lasts for more than six months. Chronic pain can range from mild to severe. It can be constant, or it can come and go. Chronic pain may interfere with your daily life – preventing you from going about your normal activities. It also can lead to or intensify depression, anger, and frustration.
That’s why our comprehensive pain team includes two psychologists who provide a full behavioral health evaluation for each patient to manage all aspects of chronic pain.
