Comment Policy

Munson Healthcare will monitor, edit, delete, and/or hide comments that Munson finds to be inappropriate, off-topic, or offensive.

Munson Healthcare may block, suspend, or discontinue a user’s access to any social media site, at any time, without notice and for any reason.

Photographs or recordings of patients, visitors, vendors, or Munson Healthcare staff shall not be posted without the express permission of those recorded. Munson reserves the right to require proof of same.

Posts containing the following will be deleted:

  • Others’ personal health or medical information.
  • Unlawful, disruptive, threatening, profane, abusive, or obscene language.
  • Hate speech or other language that is insensitive based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, or any other personal characteristic.
  • Personal attacks, harassment, or defamatory or libelous comments.
  • Off topic, redundant, or repetitive comments.
  • Visible nudity.
  • Medical misinformation.
  • Unsolicited or unauthorized advertising.
  • Violations of copyright or intellectual property laws.
  • Violations of the social media platform’s terms of service or community guidelines.

Employee Guidelines

Munson Healthcare employees must adhere to the Social Media Policy, which can be found on Munson Healthcare intranet.
