Pharmacy Residency Bios

Stephanie Bozynski

Stephanie is originally from Rochester Hills, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Wayne State University in 2023 and 2026, respectively. Her clinical interests include critical care, cardiology, and infectious diseases. Following residency, she hopes to pursue a career in academia as a faculty member at a college of pharmacy where she can combine her passions for teaching, mentoring, and patient care. Stephanie chose to pursue her pharmacy residency at Munson Medical Center because of its supportive learning environment, strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, and the opportunity to gain broad clinical experience while serving the Northern Michigan community. Outside of pharmacy, Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé, Kevin, and their two dogs, Asha and Mason.

Samantha Dzierzyc

Samantha (Sam) grew up in Dorr, MI. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Lake Superior State University, followed by her PharmD from Ferris State University in 2026. Her clinical interests include critical care, emergency medicine, and internal medicine. Outside of pharmacy, she juggles many hobbies, including gardening, reading, crafting, baking, and spending time with her fiancée Tanner and their cat Basil. Sam was drawn to the PGY-1 program at Munson due to the positive culture and multitude of learning opportunities she experienced as a longitudinal student.

Patrick Maloney

Patrick grew up in McBain, MI with his 4 siblings. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Ferris State University, followed by his PharmD from Ferris State University in 2026. His practice interests include critical care, oncology, and education. In his free time, he enjoys chainmailing, thrifting, watching movies, gardening, reading, and spending time with his family, his girlfriend Katie, and their cats, Percy and Sadie. Patrick chose Munson for a PGY-1 residency due to the positive experience received as a longitudinal APPE student and the variety of practice experiences offered for someone who is a little curious about everything.
