Current Pharmacy Residents

John Farris 
John is from Sycamore, Ill. He completed his pharmacy education at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. John enrolled in a dual degree program and graduated from Drake with a PharmD and a Masters of Business Administration. John’s areas of interest are emergency medicine and infectious diseases. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. John also likes visiting breweries and is a big baseball fan.

Brandon Flues 
Brandon grew up in Bay City, Mich. and completed his pharmacy education at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. His areas of interest include infectious diseases, critical care, emergency medicine, cardiology, and academia. Upon completion of his PGY1 residency, Brandon would like to pursue a PGY2 residency in infectious diseases. In his free time, Brandon likes exploring local breweries, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family.

Rachel MacLeod 
Rachel is from the metro Detroit area. She completed her pharmacy education at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. After completing her PGY1 residency at Munson Medical Center, she stayed on as the PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacy resident. Some of her areas of interest include antimicrobial stewardship, HIV/AIDS pharmacotherapy, and education. Outside of pharmacy, Rachel enjoys practicing calligraphy, visiting breweries, and spending time with her husband and miniature schnauzer.

Julian Muron 
Julian is from Flint, Michigan and completed his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science at Michigan State University. He then attended Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Pharmacy in Downers Grove, Ill. to complete his Doctor of Pharmacy. His areas of interest are critical care and emergency medicine. Outside of pharmacy, you can find him at your local brewery, pool hall, or rugby pitch critiquing modern cinema.

Albana Pecani 
Albana is from Windsor, Ontario and completed her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Windsor. She then attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. to complete her pharmacy education. Albana’s areas of interest in pharmacy include critical care and cardiology. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as learning new cooking techniques and recipes.

Max Woerfel 
Max is from the metro Detroit area. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Michigan. He attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. to complete his pharmacy education. Max’s career areas of interest include oncology and critical care. When he’s not striving to learn all he can about pharmaceutical agents, Max enjoys spending his time reading and being outdoors in nature, where he can hike, fish, and swim.

Molly Bosom (2017)
Molly completed both her undergraduate and pharmacy education at Ferris State University. She now practices as a community pharmacist with Meijer in Lansing, Mich.

Cassie Diamond (2017)
Cassie completed her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Michigan. She is now a clinical pharmacist at Munson Medical Center.

Tate Feeney (2017)
Tate completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Ferris State University. He is now a PGY2 oncology resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, N.Y.

Celine Quevillon (2017)
Celine completed her undergraduate studies at Lake Superior State University and her Pharmacy Education at the University of Charleston in West Virginia. She is now a clinical pharmacist at Munson Medical Center.

Katelin Anderson (2017)
Katelin attended Ferris State University for her undergraduate and pharmacy education. She completed both her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and her PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at Munson Medical Center. Katelin now practices as a clinical specialist at Spectrum Health in Ludington, Mich.

Bradley Haan (2016)
Brad completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Ferris State University. He completed a PGY2 critical care residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich., and he now practices as a clinical critical care pharmacist at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Flint, Mich.

John Robinson (2016)
John attended Grand Valley State University for undergraduate studies before completing pharmacy school at Ferris State University. John now works as a clinical pharmacist position at Munson Medical Center.

Joe Zerka (2016)
Joe completed both his undergraduate and pharmacy education at Cedarville University School of Pharmacy in Cedarville, Ohio. Joe is now one of the emergency medicine pharmacists at Munson Medical Center.

Allie Wasik (2016)
Allie attended Ferris State University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies. Allie went on to complete a PGY2 cardiology residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Md. She is now a clinical cardiology pharmacist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Ill.

Derek Vander Horst (2016)
Derek completed his undergraduate and pharmacy education at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. He completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Munson Medical Center, and continued on as the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Resident.  Derek is now the antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Shannon Robb (2015)
Shannon has accepted a job as a clinical pain specialist at Florida Hospital Tampa. 

Matthew Scherrer (2015)
Matthew now practices as a clinical pharmacist at UP Health System in Marquette, Mich.  

Lauren Wolf (2015)
Lauren went on to complete a PGY2 Emergency Medicine residency at the Detroit Medical Center. She is now a clinical emergency medicine pharmacist at Mercy Health St. Mary’s in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Nick Torney (2014)
Nick Torney completed his undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. He completed his PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Munson Medical Center (MMC) and early committed for the first year of the PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at MMC. He is an Infectious Diseases pharmacist, residency program director of the PGY2 Infectious Diseases Residency Program, and preceptor of the PGY1 Infectious Diseases rotation. Nick enjoys long-distance running and exploring the geography of the greater Grand Traverse area.

Diana Cowell (2014) 
Diana attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., graduating with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. After graduation, she was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and served on active duty as a helicopter pilot and flight instructor. After leaving active duty, she obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California - San Francisco. Diana completed her PGY-1 residency at Munson Medical Center and was offered the position of drug utilization specialist.

Brian Ogrin (2013) 
After residency, Brian started a clinical/staff position at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Mich. 

Trevor Warner (2013) 
Trevor was hired by Munson Medical Center after his residency, where he serves as a clinical/staff pharmacist in multiple areas throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. He is the clinical lead for the Intensive Care Unit.

Amanda Kogelman (2012) 
Amanda works as a clinical/staff pharmacist in Hematology/Oncology at the Cowell Family Cancer Center. She has been an active member of the Northern Michigan Society of Health-system Pharmacists since 2012. Amanda successfully achieved board certification in Pharmacotherapy in 2014 and Oncology in 2015.

Jason Williamson (2012) 
After his residency, Jason moved to Flint, Mich. to work as a clinical pharmacist at Genesys Regional Medical Center.

Jacqueline Pierick Baker (2011) 
Jacqueline works as a clinical pharmacist at Munson Medical Center.

Chelsea Bennett (2011) 
Chelsea completed a PGY-2 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich., and now serves as a clinical coordinator at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Mich.

Erin Bagely (2010) 
Erin started out as a clinical pharmacist at a Veterans Affairs (VA) facility in Kentucky. She has relocated back to Michigan where she continues to serve as a clinical pharmacist for the VA.

Matthew Beachnau (2009) 
Matt began his career as one of Munson Medical Center’s clinical pharmacists in the Emergency Department. He recently moved to St. Croix and now serves as a clinical pharmacist in the hospital on that island.

Megan Fletcher (2008) 
Megan worked as pharmacist in Grayling, Mich., before relocating to Grand Rapids, Mich., to serve as a clinical coordinator at Spectrum Health.

Ryan Williams (2007) 
Ryan worked in the Emergency Department as a clinical pharmacist in Battle Creek, Mich., after leaving Munson Medical Center.

Jennifer Sterling (2006) 
One of Munson Medical Center’s first Emergency Department clinical pharmacists, Jennifer works in the Traverse City community.

Benjamin Demongey (2005) 
Ben began his career as a clinical/staff pharmacist at Munson Medical Center working in the specialty area of nutrition support. In 2010 he accepted a position as home infusion clinical coordinator for Munson Home Infusion.

Philip DiMondo (2004) 
Philip was clinical coordinator of Munson Healthcare’s home infusion program from September 2005 through September 2010. He became the department’s staff educator and student education coordinator for the Direct program with Ferris State University. He was appointed residency program director in 2014 and quickly expanded the program from two to five PGY-1 residents starting in 2016. He achieved board certification in 2009.
