Medical Control Authorities A Medical Control Authority is an organization designated by the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services to supervise and coordinate a specific emergency medical services system. Each Medical Control Authority has an advisory board and a medical director who is board certified in emergency medicine or practices emergency medicine.
