You are Taking the Right Steps

At Munson Healthcare, we are here for you and your little one. It’s our mission to provide the best care possible and to treat you with dignity and respect. By seeking treatment, you are taking the right steps toward a healthy pregnancy and beyond.

What is a Peer Navigator?

Peer navigators are certified coaches who use their real-world experience to help parents overcome barriers and have the most successful outcome possible. Our peer navigators offer special support to pregnant or expecting parents coping with a substance use disorder by connecting them to resources, including long-term recovery support. This program was created in partnership with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Am I Eligible to Get Support?

Families can choose to work with a peer navigator during pregnancy and following the birth.
