COVID-19 Virtual Clinic Closed/Continue to Screen for COVID-19

For the last year, Munson Healthcare has offered an COVID-19 Virtual Clinic to ensure credentialed providers and employees had timely access to COVID-19 testing during the height of the pandemic. We are now at a point where demand for testing has decreased and the availability of rapid testing options in our communities has expanded. Therefore, we have closed the COVID-19 Virtual Clinic.

A reminder that the Healthcare Team should continue to do daily self-screening either using the mobile self-screening tool or in-person screening, whether vaccinated for COVID-19 or not. If you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19:

  • Employed providers: Call your Employee Health Office and Employee Health will help determine if testing is needed and provide you with local rapid testing options. All Munson Healthcare employed providers are required to inform Employee Health if you are positive for COVID-19.
  • Independent providers: Please contact your primary care provider to get tested, either through that office, your local Health Department, or a COVID-19 collection location.

Please inform your CMO if you test positive for COVID-19. It is important for contact tracing, and patient and employee safety that Munson Healthcare is aware of any provider who tests positive for COVID-19. Medical Staff rules require reporting of conditions that limit your ability to care for patients – but really, it’s just the right thing to do to keep our patients and staff safe.
