Cassiday Boensch, DO
Dr. Boensch was born and raised in Au Gres, MI. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in biochemistry and a minor in human rights. She continued her education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is very excited to be staying in Traverse City and is looking forward to serving the people of Northern Michigan. In her spare time she enjoys crocheting, cooking, or spending time outdoors with her fiancé, Daniel.
Sarah Buhay, MD, MS
Dr. Buhay earned her B.S. from the University of Detroit Mercy, followed by a Master’s degree from Georgetown University. She completed her medical education at Michigan State University, where she trained at the Grand Rapids campus. She is excited to serve the Northwest Michigan community and build meaningful connections with her patients. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking and baking, attending country music events, and spending time outdoors with her fiancé.
Bronson Flint-Hinson, MD
Dr. Flint-Hinson grew up in Beulah, MI. He worked as a paramedic for several years prior to completing his BS in Biomedical Sciences and MD at IUHS School of Medicine in St. Kitts. He is interested in full- spectrum rural medicine and is excited for the opportunity to care for patients in the area in which he grew up. He, his husband Austin, and their dog Cooper, are quite excited to be returning to Northern Michigan and look forward to enjoying all of the natural beauty the area has to offer. In his spare time, he enjoys running, practicing yoga, and rock climbing.
Elena Nikonova, MD
Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Nikonova graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Biology and minor in Fine Arts. She completed medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She cares deeply about preventative medicine and patient education, and looks forward to working with her patients to improve their overall health and well-being. Outside the clinic, she enjoys sunny walks with her husband and family, painting landscapes and portraits, video games, and taking hundreds of photos of her miniature dachshund Charlie.
Dylan Sebagh, DO
Dr. Sebagh was born and raised in Troy, Michigan. He earned his B.S. in Finance from Wayne State University before going on to receive his medical education from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is excited to be moving to Traverse City with his partner and their two dogs, Arlo and Gabe, and looks forward to caring for the communities of Northern Michigan. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, fishing, and snowboarding.
Lauranmarie Smith, DO
Dr. Smith was raised in Davis, California. She attended Boise State University for her Kinesiology degree and went on to earn her Osteopathic Medical degree from Rocky Vista University in Utah. She is passionate about family medicine, with particular interests in full- spectrum care, obstetrics gynecology, and lifestyle medicine. Dr. Smith is dedicated to supporting her patients’ overall well-being and building meaningful relationships within the community. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her two cats. She is excited to explore the Traverse City area and to get involved in the local community.
