What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care is for people of any age experiencing the symptoms and stress of a serious illness. It is similar to hospice care in many ways, but with some important differences.

Like hospice care, palliative care supports patients whose treatment is complete. But unlike hospice care, palliative care also helps those who still are exploring treatment options or are seeking a cure for their conditions.

The experienced, qualified providers and staff of Munson Healthcare Palliative Care are there to listen and to carefully explain options for you and your family. Ideally, our support begins with your diagnosis and continues throughout your illness and treatment.

Care for All Your Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Needs

Munson Healthcare Palliative Care helps those with serious illness by offering:

  • Continuity of care (to help achieve the best possible quality of life during illness)
