2019 Remembrance Run
Hosted by the Traverse City Track Club
The Remembrance Run, hosted by the Traverse City Track Club, has raised more than $240,000 for the Women's Cancer Fund since its inception in 1994. This important fund helps patients with a variety of living expenses, alleviating some of their financial burden and allowing them to focus on rest and healing.
The Women's Cancer Fund is accessed by hundreds of women each year with an average need of approximately $600. More than $80,000 is needed annually to meet the demand for this fund. By making a gift to this fund, you can support patients in the following ways:
- $50 Help to purchase a Gas Card to help cover transportation costs to appointments.
- $100 Help with monthly utility expenses while a patient is undergoing treatment and unable to work.
- $150 Help with a car payment or groceries.
- $250 Help with child care expenses while receiving treatment.
- $500 Help with rent or house payments for one month.
This year's Remembrance Run takes place on Sunday, October 6, at Timber Ridge Resort. Make a donation below or visit the run sign up page to register.
