Vaccination Clinics, COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters, and Exemptions COVID-19 1 st dose and booster vaccination clinics (Pfizer) An optional Pfizer booster is available for those who have received their 2 nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine >6 months ago. At this time, there is no clinical indication or CDC approval for a booster for either the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson/Janssen vaccines. If you are medically or religiously unable to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and need to request a medical or non-medical exemption, you must submit the proper form and any supporting documentation by November 15, 2021

21st Century Cures Act Goes in to Effect Today
The 21st Century Cures Act went into effect today, April 5, 2021. This act mandates the release of patient information electronically to those with a valid, legal right to request information including, but not limited to, patient, payer, provider, or insurance. Required patient data points in the USCDI Standard are now available through Munson Healthcare’s patient portals. Patients Can Now Self-Refer for Screening Mammograms
To support timely patient care, promote self-advocacy, and improve outcomes, patients can now self-refer for screening mammograms at all MHC locations without requiring a provider’s order. Patient Has a PCP PCP will be notified, and results will be viewable in the patient’s chart. Additional breast imaging recommended by the radiologist will require an order unless we have a conditional order on file.
