Support Services at Thomas Judd Care Center

Thomas Judd Care Center offers a range of support services designed to reduce barriers to care and support overall health and stability. Services are tailored to individual needs and available based on eligibility and funding guidelines.

Food Assistance*

Food assistance may be available when local food pantry resources have been fully utilized.

Head-to-Toe Pantry*

Clients have access once per month to our Head-to-Toe Pantry, which provides essential non-food household and personal care items not typically covered by assistance programs. Items may include hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and other necessities that support health, dignity, and daily living.

Emergency Financial Assistance*

Limited emergency financial assistance may be available for outpatient medical expenses not covered by insurance, based on demonstrated financial need.

Transportation Assistance*

Our dedicated and friendly driver can provide transportation to and from medical appointments throughout the region, helping ensure access to care.

Housing/Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)*

In partnership with Sacred Heart in Saginaw, we offer short-term assistance with rent, mortgage payments, utilities, or support in securing stable housing.

Education and Social Events

Throughout the year, we offer educational and social events focused on innovative HIV treatment options, current HIV-related issues, and opportunities to connect with other northern Michigan residents.

*Important Information
