Munson Healthcare is pleased to welcome Brett Walker, DO, to the orthopedic and neurosurgical clinical teams.
Dr. Walker will see patients in Gaylord and Harbor Springs and perform spine surgeries at Otsego Memorial Hospital and Charlevoix Hospital.
Dr. Walker attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at McLaren Oakland Regional Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine and is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Walker believes in practicing evidence-based medicine and promoting a team approach to care. He chose a career in spinal surgery to help alleviate symptoms and restore his patients’ quality of life.
“I enjoy having the opportunity to improve my patients’ quality of life in a meaningful way,” he says.
Outside of work, Dr. Walker enjoys traveling, cooking, and being outdoors.
