Barnard Women’s Fellowship Donates for Third Consecutive Year
Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital Birthing Center has received a generous donation from the Barnard Women’s Fellowship of Barnard Methodist Church—marking the third year the group has supported local mothers and newborns with an annual “community baby shower.”
The donation effort has been led once again by Brianna Matchett, a Charlevoix community member who welcomed all four of her children at Charlevoix Hospital. Inspired by the compassionate care she received, Matchett began organizing the yearly donation drive with her church fellowship to give back to new families receiving care at the hospital. This year’s donations included diapers, wipes, clothing, sleep sacks, blankets, and more.
“Brianna and the entire Barnard Women’s Fellowship continue to show extraordinary kindness and generosity,” said Emily Veldboom, MSN, MBA, NE-BC, Birthing Center Manager. “Their ongoing commitment directly supports mothers and babies in our community and helps ensure that every family we serve feels supported from the moment they arrive.”
