Candlelight ceremonies to take place in Traverse City and Cadillac on Dec. 15 and 17
Munson Healthcare Hospice Bereavement Services invites the community to join candlelight ceremonies to acknowledge the pain and loss of the last year and the heaviness that can accompany holiday joy.
The Winter Solstice Gatherings are an opportunity for individuals to come together to light the way with hope and healing during the longest night of the year.
“This annual ceremony is held during the holiday season and is a special way to remember and honor those loved ones who are no longer with us. It is a celebration of light and unity, a time to share fellowship with others, reflect on cherished memories, and find comfort as a community,” said Shari Wilson, President Post-Acute Care.
Two gatherings are scheduled:
- Monday, December 15, 5:30 pm: The Filling Station, 642 Railroad Pl., Traverse City
- Wednesday, December 17, 5 pm: Cadillac Senior Center - 601 Chestnut St., Cadillac
