04.09.2021

Munson Healthcare Community Hospitals and System Integration President Tonya Smith announced today that Kirsten Korth-White has been named east region president for Munson Healthcare effective May 1.

The east region was created in 2018 when Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital became fully integrated with the health system. It includes Otsego Memorial Hospital, along with Munson Healthcare Charlevoix and Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospitals, and has been headed by Tom Lemon who is retiring at the end of the month.

Korth-White has been the president of Grayling Hospital since 2018 and will retain that role in addition to her new responsibilities.

“It is increasingly important that we work together as a region to align resources and ensure our continued success,” Smith said. “Kirsten’s strengths in bringing teams together, engaging providers, and identifying opportunities for collaboration have been demonstrated consistently at Grayling and I look forward to all she will bring to the entire east region.”

Korth-White joined the Grayling Hospital team in 2004 as the chief human resources officer and organizational integrity officer. During her career at Grayling Hospital she has also served as the vice president of operations, vice president of the physician network and ambulatory services, and chief operating officer and chief practice administrator.

She has a master’s in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Business and is on the board of Crawford County Economic Development.
