Munson Healthcare is pleased to welcome board certified nurse practitioner April M. Butler to Prudenville Community Health Center, located at 2585 W. Houghton Lake Drive in Prudenville, Mich.
Butler chose the medical field because she enjoys providing holistic care to those in need. She was a registered nurse for 13 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She went back to school and received her nurse practitioner degree from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Mich.
She has experience working in several healthcare settings and enjoys collaborating with other healthcare providers to provide the best care possible for her patients.
“My favorite part of practicing medicine is getting to know my patients and their families while assisting them with their health throughout their life,” Butler said.
In her free time, Butler enjoys spending time outdoors and fishing year-round with her husband and daughter.
