Given the evolving situation with COVID-19, the rise in community positivity rates, and the demand on staffing resources presented throughout our system, Munson Healthcare will occasionally need to temporarily reduce hours or close some of our outpatient lab and COVID-19 specimen collection locations. Please have patients refer to the Closures and Modified Hours webpage on the Munson Healthcare website prior to going to a lab location, for both COVID and non-COVID lab testing. The Closures webpage is easily accessible by going to munsonhealthcare.org and clicking on “Closures” at the top of any webpage.
Below are the most recent changes to lab and COVID-19 collection location hours:
- Cadillac | COVID-19 Specimen Collection: The COVID Testing Site behind Cadillac Primary Care (symptomatic and asymptomatic testing) will be temporarily closed this Thursday, Dec. 9 and will resume normal hours on Friday, Dec. 10.
- Grayling Outpatient Labs: The following outpatient lab locations will temporarily reduce hours effective Monday, Dec. 13.
- Grayling Hospital Main Lab: Mon. – Fri., 7 am – 3 pm (closed weekends)
- Grayling Community Health Center (a.k.a., North Campus): Mon. – Fri., 8 am – 3 pm (closed weekends and 12-1 pm for lunch)
- Prudenville Community Health Center: Mon. – Fri., 7 am – noon (closed weekends)
- Roscommon Community Health Center: Mon. – Fri., 7 am – noon (closed weekends)
Notes:
- Courier pickup has also been reduced to once a day.
- Any nurse collect specimens (UA, swabs, stool) will be refrigerated until the next day.
- Roscommon and Prudenville patients who need to be collected on a STAT basis after noon will need to go to either Grayling Hospital’s Main Lab or Grayling Community Health Center (a.k.a., North Campus) before 3 pm.
- Any STAT needs after 3 pm should report to Grayling Hospital’s Main Lab, however, please let patients know they may experience a long wait time as we may only have one phlebotomist covering the entire hospital.
