What to Expect

The entire team at Manistee Hospital is committed to making your stay the best it can be. You can expect us to:

  • Effectively manage your pain
  • Listen carefully to you
  • Provide highly-skilled, quality care
  • Provide clear explanations about your care and medications
  • Provide a clean, comfortable and quiet environment
  • Treat you with respect, courtesy, and compassion

All of our staff members wear ID badges that clearly show their name, title and photo. If you are unsure of someone's identity, please ask.

You are probably not feeling your best, so our staff works hard to ensure you are as comfortable as you can be while you’re here. Quick, attentive care is always our goal.

If You Have Questions

We invite you to contact the nursing leader or manager of the department providing your care if you have:

  • Questions about your care or your stay
  • Concerns or comments related to your care
  • Compliments and recognition for staff delivering your care

Healing Arts Gallery

The Healing Arts Gallery helps support Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital's goal of creating a comfortable, attractive, and healing environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Developed in partnership with the Manistee Art Institute, exhibits rotate about every six to eight weeks. The gallery is located on the first floor of the hospital, near the cafeteria and public elevators. Exhibits are open to the public during regular business hours.
