Support Stroke Care in Northern Michigan Today

Munson Medical Center launched an Interventional Stroke Program in October 2020 on World Stroke Day. Thanks to generous support from community members, this program is now home to an endovascular neuro-surgeon and two 3D biplane imaging machines. Munson Medical Center is the only hospital in the nation to house more than one of these innovative biplane machines.

Bringing state-of-the-art equipment and a highly-skilled stroke team to northern Michigan is only the first step.

To complete the Comprehensive Stroke Center, Munson Medical Center needs infrastructure and technology support and the resources to recruit and train additional physicians and clinical staff.
