Convenient Urgent Care and Walk-In Services

Urgent Care is the best place to go for illnesses, injuries, or conditions that need to be treated right away, but are not life threatening.

COVID-19 Rapid Antigen and PCR Testing Available

Munson Healthcare Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic locations are now offering rapid antigen and PCR testing for individuals with or without COVID-19 symptoms. Testing is billed to insurance and patient is responsible for any remaining balance. Testing applications may include:

  • Return to work or school
  • Sports participation
  • Travel requirements

Rapid antigen testing results are typically available within 15 minutes. In some cases, a confirmatory PCR test may be required. PCR test results are usually available within 48 hours but may take longer. Please plan accordingly.

If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please call ahead to ensure symptomatic testing is available at your clinic location. Please note rapid antigen testing is not available at Charlevoix Hospital Urgent Care.

3 Reasons to Choose Urgent Care/Walk-in Clinic

If your condition is not life-threatening, choose an Urgent Care or Walk-in Clinic instead of the Emergency Department because:

  1. You may wait longer in the Emergency Room because the most serious illness/injuries are seen first.

  2. Co-pays are often more expensive in the Emergency Room.

  3. Your health plan may not pay for Emergency Room care if you do not have a true emergency.
