Monoclonal Antibody Therapy

• We continue to refine the referral process based on provider feedback. The mAb support line will now schedule mAb therapies directly with the patient, so providers no longer have to do this step. We are exploring additional referral process improvements to make it easier for referring providers…stay tuned.

Immunity Status Post COVID-19 Vaccination

NEJM recently published interim results showing excellent antibody levels at 6 months after 2^nd dose of the Moderna vaccine. CDC has removed the post-vaccination time limit on fully vaccinated status.

Retesting Asymptomatic Patients Prior to Transfer to SNF

Asymptomatic patients that have a possible false positive COVID-19 test can be retested using PCR testing prior to transfer to a skilled nursing facility (SNF).

Updated USPSTF Lung Cancer Screening Guidelines on Hold

In March 2021, USPSTF released updated recommendations for lung cancer screening, which expand the eligibility criteria. Until the new criteria is adopted by CMS/private insurers, providers should use the current criteria.
