She left a legacy gift of $466,000 to the Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital Foundation. Dr. Chang’s life story contains all of the drama, heartbreak, adventure, and enduring love of a made-for-TV movie. She went to church with her husband, Alex, and mother, Mary, then went to her job as an occupational therapist. Fifteen minutes into her shift, Katie went into cardiac arrest and was taken by ambulance to Munson Medical Center.
