Health Alert: Unhealthy Air Quality from Wildfire Smoke
06.08.2023

Due to the wildfires in Grayling and Canada, the air quality in several Michigan counties is at unhealthy levels, especially for sensitive populations.

The health effects of particle pollution exposure can range from relatively minor (e.g., eye and respiratory tract irritation) to more serious health effects (e.g., exacerbation of asthma and heart failure, and premature death). For more, visit the CDC website.
