Health Alert: Unhealthy Air Quality Levels in MHC Region

Due to the wildfire smoke from Canada, the local air quality is at unhealthy levels — especially for sensitive populations — and is expected to persist throughout the week. 

The health effects of particle pollution exposure can range from relatively minor (e.g., eye and respiratory tract irritation) to more serious health effects (e.g., exacerbation of asthma, heart failure, stroke, and premature death).
