Sarah completed her undergraduate degree at Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, before going to the University of New England in Portland, Maine to be a Physician Assistant.
Sarah was inspired to pursue a career in the medical field by her mother, a labor and delivery nurse. As a young girl, Sarah admired how her mother cared for people and had a passion for healthcare.
Being a physician assistant was a great fit for Sarah’s passion to help keep people healthy and bring healing when it is needed. “I am excited to work together as a team to help achieve optimal health physically, mentally, and spiritually, so my patients can live life to the fullest,” Sarah said.
Sarah and her husband have two daughters, and a cat, Mocha. In their free time, they love spending time with family and friends, serving at their church, adventuring outdoors, and trying new local foods.
Sarah practices at Munson Healthcare Foster Family Primary Care, located in the Foster Family Community Health Center at 550 Munson Avenue, in Traverse City. She is accepting new patients, and appointments can be made by calling 231-935-8460.
