Munson Healthcare Respiratory Protection Committee would like to remind the Healthcare Team to complete your annual N95 “re-fit” based on your most recent fit testing date. This complies with OSHA annual fit-testing requirements as well as promotes a safe environment for our employees and patients. It is highly encouraged to schedule your fit test in advance.
The following are required to complete their annual re-fit:
- Hospitalists
- All Emergency Department Providers
- All Pulmonary and Critical Care / Intensivists
- All Anesthesia
- Inpatient Cardiology Providers prioritized by their upcoming patient care shifts
- Surgical Specialists
- Trauma Surgery
- General Surgery
- Otolaryngologists who are part of the Intubation Team
- OB Providers
- Neonatology
- Infectious Disease
- Urgent Care Providers
- Gastroenterology
- Palliative Medicine
Annual re-fit is also required of any provider not listed above who will be caring for a patient with a suspected or confirmed disease requiring Airborne Precautions.

The entire Healthcare Team should only use MHC-provided PPE when at work.
