The CDC has issued a health advisory due to low vaccination rates against influenza, COVID-19, and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), which could lead to more severe disease and increased healthcare capacity strain in the coming weeks. Also, a recent increase in cases of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) following SARS-CoV-2 infection has been reported.
We need your help to encourage patients to keep up to date on vaccinating themselves and their children against preventable illnesses. Please talk to every patient, every visit, every time about vaccinations. Help us keep one another healthy.
